The Uses of our Ratchet Straps

One of our leading product groups that we offer on our website is our Ratchet Straps. They play a fundamental role in the transportation of equipment and goods whilst keeping them safe during the journey. 

There are numerous types of straps that we offer on our website all with different lengths and breaking strains ( the amount of weight the strap can withstand without breaking) helping provide the greatest protection for your goods. 

The smallest strap that we offer are the mini ratchet straps, these are more suited for transporting your smaller items whilst still being extremely convenient. The straps have are 25mm in width and have a breaking strain of 800kg and 1400kg.

Our ratchet straps are 50mm in width with numerous sizes ranging from 4m to 20m fitted with claw hooks and have a 5T breaking strain. All of our ratchet straps are appropriately rated and manufactured to industry standards. Below are some images of the products being in use.

 

 

 

Step-by-step instructions

Below is a video showcasing the simple method of setting up and taking apart the ratchet strap. The step-by-step instructions are also posted below. 

Step 1: Use the release catch to open the ratchet thus releasing it, ensure that webbing can be inserted in the slot. 

Step 2. Feed webbing through the bottom of the ratchet and pull the excess webbing through until taut.

Step 3. Hook the ends of the strap on items to be tied down.

Step 4. Crank the ratchet and lock safely.

To open the strap, simply release the ratchet and remove webbing using the release catch.
